Cochin International Airport Limited invites applications for the following positions:

General Manager(HR)

No. of  posts : 1

Scale of  Pay : Rs.51300-3%-73000

Qualification : MBA / Post  Graduate  Degree or Diploma (2 year course) with specialization in HR/IR subjects viz. HRM/IR/PM/PM&IR/Social Work/Public Admn./Labour Mgmt. etc.

Graduation in Law (LLB) shall be considered as desirable additional qualification.

Experience :  Minimum 20 years of experience in managerial cadre in the field of Human Resources Management & Development in reputed and well established organizations having an employee strength of atleast 250. Out of the total experience of 20 years, minimum 5 years should be in senior managerial positions.

Should be conversant with various HR & Administrative  functions like Formulation of HR policies and procedures, Salary & Wage administration, Training & Development, Labour statutes, Industrial Relations etc.

(If suitable candidates are not found available for GM position, the company may consider candidates with lesser experience for appointment to the lower position of DGM, for which the criteria would be minimum 12 years of experience in managerial cadre including minimum 3 years in senior managerial positions).

 Age :  Shall not exceed 48 years as on 13th August 2012 (Relaxable in the case of experienced candidates)

 Job Requirement : Job responsibilities include overall administration and management of HR activities such as formulation of HR Policies/Procedures, Manuals, Performance Appraisal System, Grievance Handling, Disciplinary Procedures, Manpower planning, Training & Development, Wage Negotiations and Settlement, Employee Relations in multi union environment, Contract Labour Management, Legal matters etc.

The senior HR executive is required to do manpower planning for various departments. The pay scale for senior HR executive ranges from 25,000 to 35,000. The increment and promotions for the positions are subject to raise every 2 years depending on the performance of the candidate.
